Brontosaurus and Brachiosaurus

from CA$100.00

Brontosaurus and Brachiosaurus are both very large long neck dinosaurs weighing up to 30,000kg and 58,000kg respectively. Although nearly twice the weight the two were roughly similar in length around 27m and 25m. Brontosaurus (meaning thunder lizard) had a more slender body and likely used its tail as a whip whereas brachiosaurus (meaning arm lizard) had a shorter muscular tail and much longer far more muscular front legs which puts the spine at more of an angle making it easier to feed off higher branches similarly to a giraffe.
